Biography:

Highly skilled in treating a full scope of orthopaedic needs, MUSC Health Orthopaedic Surgeon Nathan Wigner, M.D., brings South Carolina's highest quality general orthopaedics, total joint and sports medicine care to the Hampton area. He received his undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Biology from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He went on to receive both his M.D. and Ph.D degrees from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Wigner received his Ph.D in Biochemistry and has published extensively in the fields of skeletal biology and translational research. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Following residency, Dr. Wigner completed his spine fellowship at Harborview Medical Center, University of Washington, in Seattle, WA.
